1. Data Collection & Usage
IGT Security ("the App") is developed with a strict Zero-Data-Harvesting policy. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third-party brokers.
Installed Application Information: We collect and process the list of installed applications on your device to enable core security features including App Lock, malware detection (Antivirus), and Link Protection (detecting threats within other apps).
Security Diagnostics: We utilize non-personal diagnostic data such as battery temperature, storage availability, and RAM usage exclusively for performance optimization and security audits.
2. Detailed Permission Disclosure
To provide professional security, IGT Security requires access to specific Android subsystems. In compliance with Google Play policy, we provide a prominent disclosure and seek your affirmative consent before accessing sensitive data.
Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService API)
Real-Time Phishing & Link Protection
To support our Link Protection feature, IGT Security requires enabling Android's AccessibilityService API which monitors web links instantly as you open or click them across other applications and browsers.
- How we use it: We read active web URLs clicked inside web browsers, social networks, and messaging clients to check against malicious lookalike domains and phishing triggers.
- In-App Alert Override: If a suspicious or dangerous domain is evaluated, we present a prompt security warn-screen overlay to block access and safeguard your device from credentials thief tools.
- Absolute Privacy Guarantee: The Accessibility Service is strictly limited to inspecting browser URL patterns. We DO NOT record, read, store, or transmit any other on-screen elements, user text entries, keyboards, private messaging data, chat histories, or authentication credentials. Zero data is collected or shared with external servers; all operations happen offline locally on your device.
Microphone Access
Clap to Find - Anti-Theft Alert
We use the device microphone locally to listen for clap frequency signatures (detecting 3 continuous hand claps) to sound a locator signal when your device is misplaced. This analysis is executed purely offline and raw audio records are never cached, stored, or sent to any server.
Accelerometer & Proximity Sensors
Motion Alarm & Anti-Pocket Snatch Shield
Used for physical security alerts when you are away. Calculates acceleration speed peaks and light changes to fire siren sounds if your smartphone is picked up or pulled out of your bag without permission.
Device Administrator
Uninstall Protection (Uninstall Guard)
Maintains active system integrity. Stops malware hooks, hackers, or unauthorized snatchers from forcibly wiping or uninstalling IGT Security on custom settings unless you successfully double-authenticate your master PIN.
Camera Access
Intruder Selfie Capture
When the "Intruder Alert" security module triggers, we access the front camera strictly to capture a silent snapshot when an incorrect unlock PIN/pattern is entered 3 consecutive times. Your captured snapshots are stored privately within your localized secured sandbox and never uploaded.
Notification Access
Notification & Spam Filter Guard
Scans incoming android notifications locally. Instantly intercepts bulk marketing logs, adware alerts, and push notifications based on custom blocklists without transmitting contents off the device.
Location Access
GPS Tracker & Wi-Fi Deep Encryption Scans
Used locally to query basic wireless hotspot SSIDs as required by modern Android modules to verify connection security levels. Also allows logging and registering high-precision coordinates of the device locally to track path history in offline mode.
3. Data Sovereignty & Encryption
100% Local Processing: All files stored in the "Privacy Vault" are encrypted using AES-256 military-grade encryption and stay physically on your device's internal storage.
No Cloud Backdoors
If you forget your master Vault password, Seth or the IGT team cannot recover your files. We do not have access to your encryption keys as they are stored in the device's TEE (Trusted Execution Environment).
4. Data Deletion & Safety
In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety policies, you have complete control over your data deletion:
- In-App Wipe: You can clear all security logs, intruder photos, and vault items within the Settings menu.
- Total Deletion: Uninstalling the app permanently erases all associated local data and vault contents.
5. Third-Party Integrations
To support our free version and process payments, we integrate with:
Google Play Billing
Handles all financial transactions for Subscriptions/Premium. We never see your credit card details.
AdMob / Appodeal
Serves relevant ads based on Device Advertising IDs. You can reset these IDs in your Android settings.
6. Play Store Compliance
This application adheres to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement. We provide prominent disclosure regarding sensitive data access and do not monetize user-specific private data. Our primary goal is the protection of the user ecosystem.
