A. Device Permissions and System Access

To perform core features like document scanning, editing, and conversion, the App requests access to the following device features:

• Camera: Used to capture images of physical documents for the purpose of document scanning and OCR (text recognition). Pictures taken are processed dynamically on-device and are not uploaded or shared.
• Storage (Photos & Files Access): Required to import existing PDFs, documents, or images from your device for editing or conversion (e.g., converting PDF to PPT, PDF to Word Doc), and to save compiled outputs back to your device storage.
• Internet State: Used to check for network connectivity and support third-party advertising, billing integrations, and basic telemetry.

B. Automatically Collected Information (Third-Party Partners)

We do not collect any personal data directly. However, the App contains third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) used for monetization (advertising) and payment processing. These services may automatically collect certain device-specific parameters, such as:

• Device Model, Operating System, and Version
• IP Address and approximate geographic location (country/city level)
• Advertising Identifier (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
• App installation information and usage statistics (e.g., duration of session, features accessed)

2. On-Device Processing & Google ML Kit

For the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Text Recognition capabilities, IGT Docs Tools integrates the Google ML Kit Text Recognition SDK. All scanning, text extractions, and data extractions occur strictly on-device. No images, camera feeds, or recognized text are uploaded to Google or IGT Docs Tools servers.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising SDKs

This App integrates several third-party services that process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. These partners may collect device IDs and display ads based on your preferences:

• Google Play Services: Enables core platform features, including application integrity and update notifications. Google Privacy Policy

4. How We Use the Collected Information

Any details accessed or gathered are used solely to:

• Deliver, maintain, and improve the operational performance of IGT Docs Tools.
• Process your local file operations, document conversions, and OCR scans efficiently.
• Manage and verify your in-app purchases, premium features, and subscriptions.
• Deliver target-appropriate ads and analyze ad performance.
• Enforce App security, prevent fraudulent behavior, and comply with legal requirements.

5. Data Retention and Security

Since we do not upload your personal documents, files, or scanned photos to any cloud servers, we do not store your documents. All documents reside safely on your local device. Any data processed temporarily in your RAM is deleted immediately when the application or scanning session closes.

Our third-party partners retain automatically collected device metadata in accordance with their strict data-retention schedules, protected by industry-standard encryption practices.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

7. Your Choices and Opt-Out Rights

You can manage and restrict the information processed by taking the following actions:

• Device Permissions: You can grant or revoke Camera and Storage access permissions at any time via your device's System Settings menu.
• Reset Advertising ID: You can reset your Google Advertising ID or opt-out of personalized ads completely via your Android device's Settings -> Privacy -> Ads section.
• In-App Purchases: You can manage or cancel premium subscriptions through your Google Play Store Account settings.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
